The FBI and Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help to find Miguel Angel Aguilar Ojeda, a fugitive wanted in the October 2024 murder of his estranged wife, 53-year-old Ivelisse Lugo.
Lugo was found stabbed to death in the garage of her Philadelphia home on October 27, 2024. Her body had been wrapped in a blanket and towel, and investigators believe someone tried to clean the crime scene.

Lugo’s loved ones became alarmed when she didn’t show up for a planned trip to New York City - something completely out of character.
When her sister called Ojeda, he reportedly said they had argued and that Lugo would call back in a few days.
Trusting their instincts, family members went to her home, saw her car parked nearby, and called police after they couldn’t find her.
Family and friends ultimately discovered her body in the garage. Neighbors recall Lugo’s daughters knocking on doors, desperate for answers, before the devastating discovery.
Authorities allege that Ojeda fled shortly after the killing.

Ivelisse Lugo was a beloved mother, sister, and friend, described by loved ones as “the life of the party.”
She leaves behind two adult daughters, two sisters, and two brothers - all still seeking justice for her tragic death.
Her family deserves answers, and someone out there knows where Ojeda is.

At the time Ojeda fled, investigators believe he may have been driving a white 2006 Chevrolet Express van with Pennsylvania plates ZRR-4023. The van features a roof rack, a cross decal on the rear driver’s side door, and worn paint along the passenger-side roof.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.
