On February 25, 2024, 15-year-old Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers spent the day with his mother, Katie Proudfoot. They shopped at a department store, visited Strike and Spare bowling alley, and went out for dinner before returning to their Hendersonville, Tennessee home. Between 9 and 10 p.m., Katie saw Sebastian heading to bed. She then spoke with her husband, Chris Proudfoot, who was working in Southwest Tennessee, until around midnight before going to sleep herself.
The next morning, Katie discovered Sebastian was gone. He had vanished overnight, leaving behind his phone, Nintendo Switch, and money. After searching the house and neighborhood without success, Katie called Chris, who reported Sebastian missing.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued an Endangered Child Alert and statewide AMBER alert. More than 2,000 searchers combed a 4.5-mile radius around Sebastian’s home, using scent and cadaver dogs, drones, ATVs, helicopters, and even an airplane. Ponds, waterways, lakes, and a Kentucky landfill were all searched.
Law enforcement reviewed dash cam footage from Katie’s vehicle and neighborhood security cameras. Neither Katie nor Sebastian were seen leaving the home after returning from dinner, and no other vehicles entered or left the property during the timeframe Sebastian disappeared.

Sebastian has autism and other medical conditions that may affect his ability to return safely. He does not have his medication with him.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to Sebastian’s whereabouts.
